โœฆ Synopsis

Blick's Condition is a dark humour novel set in the world of medicine. Norris Blick is a modern-day misfit, whose life is thwarted by his domineering father, Dr. Thaddeus Blick. With intriguing plots and overtones of Tom Sharpe farce, the book is divided into three parts. Norris Blick Comes of Age, Blick on the Rocks and Dr. Blick, heal thy self. Blick's Condition for the most part is a roller coaster ride on a journey from pre-pubescent childhood through to early adulthood. Exploding onto the scene having chopped up a dead body, taken up smoking, smeared blood over himself and losing his virginity. This twister of a story deals with some of the complex arguments within the discussion of Nature versus Nurture. It will take you through the conflicting work of NHS politics and finance, the underworld as well as an agonising review of relationships.
You will not be disappointed that you gave this exciting new author a look, only that you don't have an immediate sequel to read once you put this one down but it is on it's way! Blick's Condition is thrilling, dark and humorous, it coins 'page- turner' as a genre and whatever your mood, the storytelling will keep you fully engrossed.
