Carter Black is the owner of Black Security Company. The company installs the state of art security systems in businesses and residential homes. Black Security also guards and protects hired clients. Carter Black served in the the Black Ops for 16 years until he was forced into early retirement due to a severe injury. Carter had been in a bomb explosion that ended his Black Ops career and mangled his hip and leg leaving him to learn how tol ive in the civilian life 24/7.
Carter was in the offic ewhen a beautiful woman came stolling in. Carter could tell the woman was hiding from something or someone by her behavior. Lillian Jamison needed a high tech security system installed in her home. She was afraid for her life. Her ex-husband's brother wanted something form her that she didn't have access to.
Lillian's ex-husband was the notorious Kenneth Malone, who had embezzed millions from his clients and now is sitting in prison. Ken Malone had hidden $100 million away in which the FBI couldn't even find. Bill Malone had reason to believe Lillian knew where the money was hidden and of course wanted the money. Bill was coming after the money at all costs even if it killed Lillian.
Carter becames tangled in Lillian's web where he couldn't afford to be. She was a temption Carter doesn't want or need in his life. Carter becomes involved in finding the hidden money while trying to keep Lillian alive. In the process, Carter loses his heart to Lillian which he doesn't ewant and will fight the feelings at all costs. He doesn't want any involvement in a relationship with Lillian or any female liking his life the way it is.
