✦ Synopsis

The Cd atom (site symmetry 2) in the title compound,

adopts a trigonalbipyramidal coordination geometry but it tends towards a distorted pentagonal bipyramid owing to two long [2.674 (2) A ˚] CdÁ Á ÁO COO interactions from the asymmetrically coordinated acetate anions. The neutral metal complex, uncoordinated water molecules and N-heterocycles engage in O-HÁ Á ÁO, O-HÁ Á ÁN, N-HÁ Á ÁO and N-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen-bonding interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
