✦ Synopsis

The title compound, [Fe([9] aneS 3 ) 2 ](ClO 4 ) 2 or [Fe(C 4 H 8- S 2 ) 3 ](ClO 4 ) 2 , contains an octahedral Fe II S 6 core, with the Fe atom located on an inversion center. The asymmetric unit comprises two independent half cations and two anions.
