A procedure is given for constructing univariate compactly supported, biorthogonal multiwavelets from biorthogonal scaling vectors with support in [Ϫ1, 1]. A family of biorthogonal scaling vectors is constructed using fractal interpolation functions, and the associated biorthogonal multiwavelets are constructed. These scaling vectors and wavelets remain biorthogonal when restricted to integer intervals, making them well suited for bounded domains.
