Thirty-three patients with anterior mediastinal masses underwent percutaneous ultrasonically guided needle biopsy (UGNB), including ultrasonically guided aspiration biopsy (UGAB) in all 33 patients and ultrasonically guided cutting biopsy (UGCB) in 13 patients. Using UGAB alone, the diagnostic rate
