## Abstract L‐selectin belongs to the C‐type lectin family of glycoproteins and is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes. L‐selectin mediates leukocyte rolling in inflamed microvessels and high endothelial venules (HEV) __via__ binding to specific carbohydrate structures on selectin ligands.
