A genetic analysis of resistance to knockdown by permethrin and bioresmethrin in adults of the homozygous resistant strain of Aedes aegyptL BKPM3, was made. A major resistance gene RPY was located approximately 13 cross-over units from the linkage group III marker, bh (black tarsus).
