Four mutants that show the delayed leaf senescence phenotype were isolated from __Arabidopsis thaliana__. Genetic analyses revealed that they are all monogenic recessive mutations and fall into three complementation groups, identifying three genetic loci controlling leaf senescence in __Arabidopsis_
