Following earlier work in our laboratory on mononuclear nucleophilic half-sandwich type compounds with Co, Rh and Ir as metal centers, a series of mono-and dinuclear complexes containing bis(cyclopentadienyl)methane as ligand has been prepared. It is shown that the criterion of metal basicity can be
