✦ Synopsis
Vanadium-copper hetero-metal binuclear complexes L VOCuX, *CH,OH (X = Cl and Br) have been synthesized, where L denotes N,N'-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediaminate or its homologues. The complexes were characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, infrared spectra, visible spectra, and cryomagnetic measurements, and were concluded to be of binuclear structures containing a vanadium(V) and a copper ion in each molecule.
