✦ Synopsis
SOi--Cl-, NO, -SO:-and NO; -Cl-binary exchange isotherms, selectivity coefficients and corrected selectivity coefficients were determined on 201 x 7 strong base anion-exchange resin at 25 'C. The rational equihbrium constants and rational activity coefficients of the resmates were calculated. The SOi--Cl--NO, ternary isotherm was also determined at 25' C It is found that the equilibria for any two ions m ternary systems are essentially the same as m the corresponding binary systems. The predictions of the ternary system SOi--Cl--NO;
