Inhaltsu È bersicht. Nickelacylen des im Titel angegebenen Typs konnten mit bipy bzw. Ph 2 P(O)CH 2 PPh 2 als stabilisierende Liganden dargestellt und durch Kristallstrukturanalysen charakterisiert werden. Daru È berhinaus gelang die Synthese des Methanoladduktes eines nickelacyclischen Carboxylats und von cis-(bipy) 2 NiCl 2 ´2 DMF, sowie deren strukturelle Charakterisierung. Anhand der Strukturdaten und unter Einbeziehung bereits bekannter Nickelacyclen werden Bindungsla È ngen und -winkel innerhalb der planaren Baugruppe (LL')Ni(O)(C) und der wechselseitige Transeinfluû der Ligatoren diskutiert. Durch die Strukturaufkla È rung von (bipy) 2 NiCl 2 ´2 DMF bietet sich die Mo È glichkeit zum Strukturvergleich der Komplexe des Typs cis-(bipy) 2 M II Cl 2 . Bei den zugeho È rigen Transisomeren sind sterische Hinderungen zu erwarten, denen durch eine geringe Verzerrung des Koordinationspolyeders begegnet werden kann. Synthesis and Structures of Nickelacyclic Compounds of the Type (LL') NiCH 2 CH 2 C(O)O
Abstract. In the title indicated type of nickelacyclic compounds could be prepared with bipy or Ph 2 P(O)CH 2 PPh 2 as stabilizing ligands. The complexes were characterized by means of crystal structure analyses. Additionally, both the synthesis of the methanol adduct of a nickelacyclic carboxylate and cis-(bipy) 2 NiCl 2 ´2 DMF was successful as well as their structure analyses. Using the structure data including the data of formerly described nickelcycles, bond lengths and angels within the planar group (LL')Ni(O)(C) and the mutual trans-influence of the ligands are discussed. The structure of (bipy) 2 NiCl 2 ´2 DMF is discussed with respect to other compounds of the type cis-(bipy) 2 M II Cl 2 . In the case of the corresponding trans-isomeres, steric hindrances between the bipy-ligands are to be expected which can be equalized by a small distortion of the coordination polyhedron.
