Bi-directional reflectance of a varnishe
✍ Mady Elias; Lionel Simonot 📂 Article 📅 2004 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 250 KB

An absorbing and non-scattering varnish layer applied on a diffuse painting modifies the colour appearance. The different refractive indices of air, varnish and painting are taken into account to express the diffuse reflectances of two systems: the three-layer system air/varnish/paint and the double

The senftleben effects for a gas of 2Σ m
✍ H. Moraal; F.R. McCourt 📂 Article 📅 1969 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 213 KB

The general expressions for the Senftleben effects for a gas of 2LZ molecules are evaluated numerically for the thermal conductivity using a simple model. These effects are strongly dependent on the pressure. Good qualitative agreement is found between theory and the measurements of AX&, for NC+.

Results on the chemrcal effects associated wxth the three known trtplet states of propene at 4.4, ~6.1 and 7.7 eV, deduced from gas phase simulated radtolysts of propene and of its isomer cyclopropane with low energy electrons, are discussed. Data of previous authors on mercury (3P1) photosensitized
