✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The diffusion coefficient of tristearin in triolein has been measured at 21° C by the capillary‐cell technique. The concentration of the ^14^C‐tagged diffusing substance is determined by dry combustion of the solution of tristearin in triolein, and subsequent activity measurement of the BaCO~3~ sample of infinite thickness. Difficulties and limitations of the method are indicated.
