H e r e some observations which I have obtained of Parthenope, Irene, and the planet discovered by Professor de Gasparis on July 29; and also of the two last discovered Comets. The Equatoreal observatioos were taken with the large Refractor of this observatory. All the observations have been corrected for Refractioii by the Tables in BessePs A s t r ou o m i s c h e U n t e r s u c h u n g e r i p. 198--201, arid for a few instances, in which the Zenith Distance exceeded 85*, the Supplementary Table in the T a b u l a e R e g i o n i o n t a r i a e 4.
