A Coniet visible to the naked eye was discovered by I r .

Tzrttle, at this Observatory, on the 21. of June, at 9b P. M. It was seen in a belt of clear sky near the north west horizon, the rest of the sky being obscured by clouds. The tail was about O"30' wide at 5' from the nucleus, and could be traced through 6" or i o , notwithstanding the clouds and haze.
