✦ Synopsis

In § 1 an error in a formula of a former publication on the positive column with moving striations is rectified, the main results of the calculation remaining unaltered. In § 2 the final-velocity distribution of electrons in a homogeneous electric field is calculated in a simple manner, in the case that the electrons only make elastic collisions with the gas atoms.
