Beitrage zur Kenntnis des Guajakharzes 2. Mitt.: Die Eauptbestandteile der ,,Guajaconsiiure" *) Aus dcm Pharmazeutisch.chemischen Institut der Universitrit Tiibingen (Eingegangen am 8. Oktober 1968) Aus der Guajaconsiiure wurden durch priiparative Schichtchromatographie die Substamen A und B, aus einer mit Diazomethan methylierten ,,Guajaconsiiure" die stabileren Substanzen MA und MB gewonnen. Spektroskopische und chemische Versuche zeigen die Verwandtschaft zu Lignanen des Furoguajacin-Typus. MA und MB sind ineinander i3berfiihrbar. A enthiilt zwei Guajacyl-Reste, B vier. Die sog. ,,Guaj&cinBilure" ist ein Gemisch hoherkondensierter Produkte des gleichen Typs. Fiir A und B werden Partialformeln zur Dicikussion gestellt.

Part 2 The substances A and B were obtained by layer chromatography from the ,,Guajaconic acid", and the more stable substanws MA and MB from a ,,Guajaconic acid" m e t h y l a ~d with diazomethane. Spectroscopic and chemical investigations show the relation to lignanes of the furoguajacin-type. MA and MB are convertible into one another. A contains two guajecyl rests, B four. The so called ,,Guajacinic acid" is a mixture of higher condensed products of the same type. For A and B partial structures are discussed.
Die ,,Guajaconsaure" ist auch nach wiederholten Reinigungsprozeduren immer noch ein Gemisch aus mehreren Substanzenl). Wir haben nun durch Schichtchromatographie a n Kieselgel die beiden Hauptsubstanzen A und B getrennt und chromatograpbisch rein gewonnen.
