Abstract

Das durch Umsetzung von Gramin‐methosulfat mit Phenyl‐hydroxylamin und Alkali in quantitativer Ausbeute erhältliche N‐Phenyl‐N‐skatyl‐hydroxylamin läßt sich, über Indolaldehyd‐(3)‐phenylnitron, mit 90‐proz. Ausbeute, bez. auf Gramin‐methosulfat, in Indolaldehyd‐(3) überführen. Die beschriebene Reaktionsfolge stellt eine neue Methode zur Überführung einer Mannich‐Base in den entsprechenden Aldehyd dar.
