Alstom to work on China's first EPR nuclear power plant
A lstom has signed a contract worth more than 200 million with China Guang Dong Nuclear Power Co for the engineering and procurement of the complete turbine island for China's first EPR nuclear power plant to be built in Taishan, in Guangdong province.
Alstom will supply in-house designed components, as well as the basic engineering of the complete turbine island and pumping station, while Alstom Wuhan Engineering and Technology Co will support the on-shore portion of the design and procurement.
