A method employing Bayesian statistics is used to incorporate recent experimental results on a e and mixing into a measurement of the CabilYoo--Kobayashi-Mazkawa matrix elements with ~mall theoretical uncertainties. The neutral B meson mixing results yield a slight improvement in ~'e estimate of [Vtd[. Prospects for improving the knowledge of the CKM matrix elements with measurements of B°l~s ° miring and the K + --* ~r+l,~ branching ratio are considered.
