ince March, spot natural gas prices have S not been as high as many had expected.
The spot price of gas at pipeline entry in South Louisiana (Exhibit 1) has generally been below $2 a million BTUs since March and below 1993 prices. This article reviews what we have learned about natural gas supply, demand, and price over the recent past, and then forecasts the spot price of gas into 1995.
Among other results, the new structure has changed gas price dynamics.
