We present some comparison results for the periodic boundary value problem for first order ordinary differential equations with impulses at fixed moments. Then, the upper and lower solution method and the monotone iterative scheme are presented. (~) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

โฆ Synopsis
We study the existence of solutions for a nonlinear ordinary differential equation of first order with periodic boundary value conditions and subjected to impulse actions at fixed moments. We develop basic results for the linear situation and then we study the nonlinear problem extending known results when the impulses are absent.
