Iron calcium bismuthate glasses having composition 0.05Fe 2 O 3 Á 0.95{xCaO Á (100 Γ€ x)Bi 2 O 3 } (x ΒΌ30, 35 and 40 mol%) were prepared using normal melt quench technique.
