✦ Synopsis
A novel, planar inverted-F antenna with a slotted T-shaped ground plane is proposed. It is shown that introducing a cross-shaped slot onto the T-shaped ground can greatly broaden the bandwidth without affecting the operating frequency. The measured bandwidth of the proposed antenna is from 1950 to 2620 MHz.
