✦ Synopsis
Abstract
In this paper, an approach for bandwidth enhancement of a small‐sized harmonic‐suppressed antenna is presented. For bandwidth enhancement and miniaturization of the harmonically suppressed slot antenna, a bowtie‐shaped meander slot antenna is proposed and demonstrated experimentally. From the measured results, the proposed antenna has a wideband characteristic with a harmonic‐suppression characteristic at the 2^nd^ and 3^rd^ frequencies. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
