Three bands consisting of dipole M1 and quadrupole E2 crossover transitions have been identified in l~Nd using the GASP array and the uΒ°Pd(28Si, 4n) reaction at 130 MeV. Calculations with the projected shell model are used to assign configurations to the different bands and to infer their K-composit
The nucleus 134 La has been produced using the 124 Sn( 15 N, 5n) reaction. High-spin states have been observed to a maximum spin of 24 + using the CAESAR HPGe array. Bands have been observed that are suggested to be based on the Οh 11/2 β Ξ½h 11/2 , Οh 11/2 β Ξ½h 3 11/2 , Οh 11/2 β Ξ½g 7/2 h 2 11/2 , a
