the workforce to meet the future needs of this high-growth sector.

At an event in Swindon, the UK's Low Carbon Minister, Lord Hunt, announced a further boost for the University of Glamorgan. The university will share £500 000 ($780 000) from the latest round of the Department for Transport's grants to encourage refueling or recharging stations for alternative fuels. The funding will help build a new multi-fuel filling station at its Pontypridd campus, and further develop its existing facility at its Hydrogen Centre in Baglan [FCB, December 2008].
