โœฆ Synopsis

A war has raged throughout Creation for eons. In a distant corner of the constellation Gaia the planet Rupa circles twin suns.

Rupa is home to many races, not all of them indigenous to her soil. Over the millennia many civilisations have risen and fallen. The religion, legends and mythology of these civilisations have at their core, the belief in a universal struggle between Light and Dark, culminating in a final battle, Kathabaya. The greatest civilisation to ever rise on Rupa was the Davir. At the heart of Davir culture and religion is the prophecy of the Tiag and Tiagatha, heroes of the Light, those chosen to recover the mythic Artifacts of Power and to unite and lead the forces of the Light in the final battle.

From the ruins of the first Davir empire a new Davir nation has arisen in the ancient Davir homelands. It is under threat. In a final desperate attempt for peace, the leaders of the new Davir nation have assembled on the Plains of Ghishtil to sign a peace treaty. They are betrayed by one of their own, however despite the treachery and betrayal, a Queen survives to bear twins before she is brutally slain. The children, Calvar and Sara are rescued at birth and are spirited away by magic to far distant lands. They Grow into adults unaware of the others existence.

Calvar is raised on a small farm in the mountains of the nation of Naranaya by exiles from the land of Iska who are much more than they seem. Sara is raised as the daughter of a Princess of Godren in the fabled tree city of Suma.

The nation of Naranaya was founded by Davir refugees after the collapse of the first empire. The Naranayans have continued what was good in the ancient traditions of their forefathers. Foremost of these traditions is the holding of the Games every four years to select a Tiag and Tiagatha to be presented to the Gods for anointment as the heroes of the Light. Men and women from all walks of life are drawn to compete in these Games. Walking between the Abhinastones they seek to be named Abhina entitling them compete for the titles of Tiag and Tiagatha.
