✦ Synopsis
Based on the data from [l], the use of the balance and level sets in nonscalarized multiobjective optimization is illustrated for a multibillion dollar project of the North Sea island option for Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam). This problem of decision-making in a mix of financial, political, environmental, and market considerations can be greatly simplified and visualized with the use of the balance and level sets and corresponding sensitivity equations.
