✦ Synopsis

It is an unsolved problem to characterize in terms of X when the space Ck(X) of continuous real-valued functions on X with the compact open topology is a Baire space. In this paper, we define and study a property called the Moving Off Property, and show that for a q-space X (e.g., for X locally compact or first-countable), X has the Moving Off Property if and only if Ck(X) is Bake.

The X-ray emission spectra of C60 are studied with high energy resolution. We have found a great difference between the CKa XES of C60 and those of diamond. On the other hand, the spectra of C60 and of soot showed some similarity which provides evidence of sp 2 hybridized carbon bonds in C60. The re
