Free chemistry software online Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is releasing a free, downloadable software package for chemical structure drawing, publishing, and spectroscopic analyses. The KnowItAll Informatics System, Academic Edition is being offered solely to the academic community. The package enables users to draw structures in two-or threedimensions. Infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and Raman spectra can be processed, and infrared and Raman functional group analysis can be performed. Access to Sadtler spectroscopy handbooks is provided and the software can be used to generate laboratory reports. The KnowItAll Academic Edition also includes online training movies to teach users how to get the most out of the software.
