โฆ Synopsis
growth and production of extracellular lipase by Aspergillus sp. and Yarrowia lypolitica. In further studies, it was observed that food industry wastes could be used and evaluated as cheap sources of carbon for lipase production.
The enzyme obtained from Aspergillus sp. culture medium was partially purified by Sephacryl S-100 gel filtration column. Purity of the enzyme was checked by SDS-PAGE and molecular weight was determined as 88 kD. It was detected that the enzyme retained its stability between 30 and 70 โข C. Enzyme was thermostable at 70 โข C. This property indicates that enzyme is thermostable. This result is an advantage for biotechnological applications of the enzyme.
