โœฆ Synopsis

U K-based Voller Energy has launched an automatic battery charger that uses fuel cell technology. The commercial developer and manufacturer of portable fuel cell systems is also strengthening its position in Italy following the appointment of Hydro2Power as its agent.

The Fuel Cell ABC Automatic Battery Charger is designed to charge a variety of batteries that power portable electronic devices. These include MP3 players and the Apple iPod, which can be connected to the built-in USB charging port.

The environment-friendly portable generator produces 'quiet' AC mains electricity -either US standard 110 V, 60 Hz or EU standard 230 V, 50 Hz. It can also simultaneously run 12 V DC electrical appliances with connectors that are designed to fit into a car cigarette lighter socket, and directly recharge batteries that are often used in remote locations to power a wide variety of measuring and monitoring equipment.

'The Fuel Cell ABC is extremely user-friendly and can be used in a wide range of applications where portable and safe power is required,' says Stephen Voller, the company's founder and CEO.

Other news reveals that Voller Energy has appointed Hydro2Power has its agent in Italy. Initially the company, which is based in Milan, will focus on the leisure market, focusing on Voller's full range of portable and industrial fuel cell systems for use as battery chargers and mobile generators.

'This is an important step forward for Voller Energy, in a country that represents significant opportunity,' says Voller. 'I believe that Hydro2-Power is the perfect partner for Voller to maximize this market potential.
