Abstract
Bβscan ultrasonography is being performed with a newly developed handβheld scanner during retrobulbar tumor surgery. We believe that it is a valuable aid in the localization and the removal of these tumors. The instrument may be directly inserted into the surgical wound, permitting otherwise unobtainable views of the lesion and of the adjacent structures.

## Abstract A new technique which records color coded frequency information in Bβscan ultrasonography is described. The frequency spectrum of a wide band transducer (6MHzβ12MHz) is divided into three component bands each recorded as one of the three primary colors of light. The results of tissue mo
