Abstract
Die oxydative Bildung von blauen Farbstoffen aus Aldazinen des N‐Methylbenzthiazolon‐(2)‐hydrazons (I) nach Besthorn verläuft über die oxydative Kupplung von freiem I mit I‐Aldazin und liefert Tetra‐aza‐pentamethincyanine. Analog kuppelt I mit p‐Nitrophenylaldehyd‐hydrazonen zu Dehydroformazanen.
