## Abstract Graft copolymerization of methyl methacrylate onto poly(ethylene terephthalate) fibers was investigated in aqueous perchloric acid medium using thallium(III) ions as initiator. The rate of grafting was evaluated varying the concentrations of monomer, initiator, and acid and the temperat
