Dedicated to Prof. Erich Ziegler on the occasion of his 80th birthday (20.111.92) ~~ ~ -(6,6'-Dimethyl-I , l'-hiphenyl-2,2'-diyl)bis(diphenylphosphine) ( = biphemp) reacts with allylmetal halides to yield complexes 1-3 which were transformed into the corresponding perchlorates 4-6. The molecular structures of 4-6 were determined by X-ray analyses.
