Colton:
Meeting a woman in a bar and taking her back to a motel room shouldn’t be a big deal right? I don’t make a habit of doing that but damn if I couldn’t help myself. Goldie, that’s what I named her, is a goddess. Not wanting to exchange real names, we have one night of red-hot sex. At least that’s all it was supposed to be.
I don’t have time for a relationship. Afterall I’m trying to find out who killed my father, but when the cops show up at my door saying they have an eyewitness to a murder, a murder they claim I committed, I’m shocked.
The crazy part is not only is Goldie my alibi for the night of the murder, but she’s also the one whose job it is to prosecute me.

My night with Beefcake keeps replaying in my mind. The man is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen. He was just what I needed to forget the last year of my life.
As the county’s Public Defender, I took on a murder case and got my client off. I believed he was innocent that is until he killed another and then himself. Now I’ve been run out of town.
Now living in Florida, I’ve been offered a job as the Assistant District Attorney. I took the job hoping I can right some wrongs. My penance I guess.
So my first case is a murder case…now I’m on the other side. I get to prosecute the bad guy right? But when Beefcake is brought in on the charge, I know he’s innocent. Afterall I’m his alibi.
