✦ Synopsis
We present an automatic remeshing strategy usable in forming processes calculation with the Lagrangian finite element method. Automatic mesh generator is used to remesh domains of complex topologies (like domains with holes and/or with internal boundaries). The automatic remeshing for geometries undergoing complex topological changing during the process is the final purpose of this work. The boundary is controled during computation in order to follow the contact with the tools and with itself. A special technique is proposed to solve the problem of contact of the object with itself. Examples of automatic remeshing for topologically complex objects are presented to illustrate the method.
