โฆ Synopsis
Due to the higher throughputs resulting from improvements in the automation and mechanization of glass manufacturing processes, the requirements for product iml~'tion and control can no longer be satisfactorily achieved by visual impection techniques. Automatic inspection systems can meet the requirements, and it is the purpose of this paper to review existing techniques and the problems associated with their application.
