โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A convenient means of measuring apoptosis is described using an automated analyzer (MFโ1; Sysmex), which normally provides rapid measurement of malarial parasites. By means of this MFโ1 procedure, apoptotic cells exhibited characteristic changes of light scatter (size) and fluorescence (DNA content) relating to cell shrinkage and nuclear fragmentation of apoptosis.
