✦ Synopsis

This paper presents a case study of advanced optimization techniques for the automated design of complex waveguide filters for space applications. Advanced design strategies based on ASM with segmentation of the structure and hybridization of algorithms are used. Three applications illustrating the usability of these techniques for the design of different types of H-plane waveguide filters are described. V
