✦ Synopsis
A versatile and fully automated system for conductometric titrations has been developed. The system is based on a personal computer (PC) and is able to control up to three simultaneous titrations and it is coupled with a robotic arm used to enhance the processes with the possibility of addition of solids. The appropriate software has been developed in order to control automatically the different phases of the operation. Different types and modes of titrant addition are available as well as different measuring options. The system has been tested and two titration examples proving its usefulness in conductometric studies of electrolyte solutions are presented.
