Abstract
The poster presents an overview of a research and development effort for a mechanism to produce reliable usage reports for the Library of Texas (LOT) Resource Discovery Service (RDS) metasearch application. The RDS Log Analyzer was designed and implemented by the Texas Center for Digital Knowledge project team as part of a contract with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission to support the LOT RDS. Developers of the RDS application had requirements to implement a mechanism for capturing RDS user transactions in custom log files.
