โฆ Synopsis
His research interest is in the area of manufacturing automation. His current research activities include automated process planning, automated NC part programming, and manufacturing-systems integration. Dr Chang is the author and coauthor of several books and articles on process planning and computer-aided manufacturing.
Mike Pratt was, until recently, the Professor of Computer-Aided Engineering at Cranfield Institute of Technology, UK, and is now a partner in the consultancy organization LMR Systems, while retaining links with Cranfield. He holds an 1VIA in physics from Oxford University, UK, an MSc in aerodynamics, and a PhD in mechanical engineering from Cranfield. His current research interests include curve and surface modelling, engineering applications of solid modelling, form features, and CAD data exchange.
Weiying Duan is a postdoctoral researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He is involved with the design and development of feature-based solid modellers and their applications to manufacturing. His research interests include boundary evaluation, constructive solid geometry, feature information processing, FEM mesh generation and NC machining. In 1990, he received a PhD in mechanical engineering from Huazhong
