4. Conclusion
We have succeeded in fabricating superconducting organic films from (BEDT-TTF) iodide by using the evaporation method and heat treatment. This is the first report of the fabrication of superconducting organic thin films using only dry processes. The present results indicate possible applications for the superconducting organic materials, and, although further work will be required in order to realize superconducting devices, superconducting organic materials are without doubt very attractive from both a scientific and an industrial point of view.
We would like to thank Prof. H. Zkeda, of Ochanomizu University, and Prof. D. Schweitzer of Universitat Stuttgart for their valuable advice and for fruitful discussions. Prof. Zkeda's provision of the facilities for the measuring experiments is greatly appreciated.
