Tyldesley's atlas can be contrasted with the atlas on oral cancers. Since more than half of the 252 Figures illustrate histopathology, less ground is covered. However, this is more than balanced by larger, better quality illustrations and the opportunity to correlate gross and histopathologic pictures.
These books would be of value to those interested in the diagnosis of benign and malignant lesions of the oral cavity.
