โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

The term social entrepreneurship is relatively recent, coming into favor over the last 30 years (Drayโ€ton, 2002). When discussing social entrepreneurship, it may be helpful to explore the role faithโ€based organizations play within social entrepreneurship, a topic that has not received adequate attention in the scholarly literature. This article features a case study of a 118โ€yearโ€old faithโ€based organization and explores its ability to create positive change, both locally and internationally. ยฉ 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
